At The Dearne ALC we value the close working relationship that we have with our parents and carers and encourage them to be pro-active in getting to know their child’s Head of Year / Form Tutor and subject staff.
This ensures there is two way communication regarding students’ progress and well-being.
We ask parents to contact us, making appointments with the appropriate staff, regarding any issues or queries that they have and as a school we in turn will contact you with any of our own concerns.
Enclosed in the student planner is a ‘Partnership’ document outlining the responsibilities of the school, parents, carers and students. All are asked to sign to help promote understanding of our partnership and how we can work together.
